Literacy Tutor Program
This school year, Thoreau piloted a community tutor program for 4th and 5th graders. THANK YOU to our first-semester tutors, whose one-on-one attention helped nearly all participants improve their fluency scores! Seven students "graduated" by meeting or exceeding grade-level fluency scores, allowing for the program to extend to third grade after Winter Break.
If you're interested in tutoring, reach out to Amy Martino.
Staff Favorite Things
There are lots of fun (and free!) ways to show staff you care. Check out the Staff Favorite Things list for ideas!
